Click Start
Click Run
Enter regedit in the Open box and click OK
Navigate to the following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Double-click the DefaultUserName entry, and type your user name then click OK.
Now double-click the DefaultPassword key, type your password then click OK.
Note: If there's no DefaultPassword value, this needs to be created
Here's the step:
File menu Click Edit select New, and then click String Value.
Type DefaultPassword as the value name then click Ok .
Double-click created key, and type your password.
Now double-click the AutoAdminLogon entry, type 1 in the Value Data box, and then click OK.
Note: If there's no AutoAdminLogon entry, this needs to be created as well.
Here's the step:
In File menu Click Edit, click New, and then click String Value.
Type AutoAdminLogon as the value name then click Ok.
Double-click created key, and type 1 in the Value Data box.
Exit Registry and restart windows.
